Privilège Ventures SA obtains FINMA license as a venture capital asset manager. Another important step underlining the company’s growth.

Swiss Venture Capital Firm Privilège Ventures SA has obtained the FINMA (Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority) license to operate as a venture capital asset manager, following a smooth and efficient licensing procedure assisted by legal advisor Rossella Dressi of Kellerhals Carrard.

I’m really proud about this important milestone for our company”, states Jacqueline Ruedin Rüsch, Founding General Partner at Privilège Ventures, “this will support our development as a leading venture capital firm in Switzerland. Being a Swiss regulated entity provides further confidence to current and future investors. It also sets the path for our future ambitious projects.”

The FINMA license allows Privilège Ventures SA to be appointed as the delegated portfolio manager for its own SICAV so as to directly manage its portfolio companies.

Privilège Ventures manages a well-diversified portfolio of innovative early-stage startups, with the majority of them located in Switzerland. The investment philosophy of the firm values strong Intellectual Property protection and robust unique technologies leveraging Swiss engineer-heavy expertise. This allows Privilège Ventures to provide attractive risk-return exposure to its qualified investors.
